If you’ve got kids, especially infants and toddlers, you know what a JOB it is to deal with the clothes, toys, and the other gear that they’ve outgrown. It’s a constant task of sorting and putting away clothes that no longer fit, and stuffing away old toys into storage in the attic.  The baby swing becomes a place to throw your clothes at the end of the day, and the old car seat is taking up room in the garage floor. Let’s face it, parents are busy, and nobody really likes the chore of figuring out what to do with all of that stuff, so many times, it just doesn’t get dealt with at all.

That’s where Tags & Pins comes in. We take all of the clothing AND “gear” that your kids have outgrown, and we sell it for you at the Divine Consign sales in Plano and Grapevine twice per year. In a nutshell, we do the work and you get paid. Here’s the deal:

Step 1: Clean out your kids’ closets (and the garage, toy room, attic, etc…). Pick out your kids’ best seasonally appropriate clothing that you are ready to part with. Make sure that all clothing is free from holes, rips, stains, pilling, etc…Basically if you wouldn’t let your child wear it in public, don’t include it. We also love helping you sell maternity clothes, baby gear (think Bumbo seats, Boppy pillows, swings, car seats, high chairs, rock and play, etc…)

Step 2: Drop off. Schedule an appointment to drop your items, along with the signed agreement, to Tags & Pins. Clothing should be neatly folded in a box or bin. Drop offs can be scheduled in Plano, McKinney, Allen, or Frisco.

Step 3: Prep work. Sit back and relax while we get to work! We will enter all of the items into Divine Consign’s consignment system, then will hang, tag, and pin your child’s clothing and gear so that it looks its very best for the sale! We know all of the tips and tricks to make your items stand out!

Step 4: Consign. We will drop your items off at the sale on the designated dates. You’ll receive periodic email updates throughout the sale so you can see how much you’ve sold each day. If you’re interested in shopping at the sale, we’ll give you “pre-sale” wristbands to get in to shop before the sale is open to the public!

Step 5: Get paid. You provided the stuff and we did the work, so the deal is that we split the profits. You’ll receive a check for 50% of your net profits (less a small supply fee to Tags & Pins) approximately 2 weeks after the sale. How easy is that?!

Please know that we are ALL ABOUT giving away used items that charity. In fact, any unsold items at the end of the sale are donated to reputable local charities. But we also know that it can be expensive to constantly replace a wardrobe for growing children, so we love helping you sell your items to offset that cost.
